HOMEWARD BOUND

Wednesday, we'll leave one home to go to another; And realizing that we will be leaving soon for Uganda makes me so much more emotional whenever I leave family behind (even if it's just for a few months). But, even though I am sad to go, it's been a great trip to Idaho and it's been just what I was praying for...family togetherness and lots of fun memories to treasure forever.

Here's a few highlights:

-Grandma's "50 Years on the Farm Celebration"
-McCall Trip (The swimming and 9 mile hike were my favorites!)
-Shopping with my Mommy
-Lots of hugs from my parents
-Swimming with Hayley,Drew and Andrew
-Spending time with my brother (I especially liked playing WAR and listening to Johnny Cash)
-Going out to eat at Golden Palace
-Grandma Gladys and Grandma Margaret making special meals (Thanks you two-YUM!)
-Spending time with church family
-Eating lunch with all of my cousins and shopping for John Deere shirts together
-The rodeo

Thanks for the good times--love you guys so much!! :)

I am so thankful for your good memories. And I feel your pain over the goodbyes. (goodbyes=bleck!)
Love you much--

Hang in there AJ. I know what you mean by leaving family to go to family. I definitely feel that is what I did. God is there to comfort.

I hate leaving family too. It was really hard leaving my family when we left for Mexico, but it also made me realize that I have a lot more goodbyes ahead of me and I needed to get used to them. It is hard to say goodbye, but also so much fun when you get to see your family
