So, I'm finished with my momentary freak-out about being a parent...but I'm sure it will come back again sometime soon!
Thanks for all the advice/comments that everyone left for me.
I'm so excited to meet my little girl--only 6 more weeks until my due date! (Hopefully she is not late, but let's assume she will be so that I don't get disappointed!)
I have a baby shower today in Keizer, so I'll post about that soon.

Bless you, friend! You are going to be so fine with this parenting thing...but what you felt (and will feel again) is so normal!
We were with many missionaries last week--and spoke of you often--with much love and anticipation of Anaiah's arrival and your arrival here.
I take great comfort in the theory of being a "Good Enough Mother". Our kids need us to mess up, so they can learn about forgiveness, boundaries, discipline, and all of those other important life lessons, in the safety of their first primary relationship - the one with mom. If you are a perfect mom you will actually be doing your child a disservice! That poor child will go out in the big, bad world and not know how to function with all of those other people who will disappoint.
At least that's what I keep telling myself...
Very true, Kristi--thanks for the reminder.
And Cheryl--we speak of you guys often too...we are getting anxious!!
