So, I don't know if it's because I'm trying to "celebrate" more in my life or what, but Sunday was a great day at PUMP Church! Did anyone else feel like that? (Don't be afraid to say no--I've had plenty of those days too.)
Anyway...I loved the energy that Adam brought to us through song leading, we had fun in the 18 month to 3 year old class welcoming Isaiah, a visitor, into our class, and I had a blast playing tag (I was base) with Treshawn, Lunden, Little Bill, Tony, Trevor, Bevon, and LeOntrell in the backyard of the PUMP House. I also enjoyed taking home a few kids with Andrew...the van was full of 16 kids, so we had the chance to visit with DeJenae (sp?), Travayona, and Treshawn. Then, I came back to deliver Thanksgiving baskets with Brian & Linda Farris (who are almost related to me through my aunt) and it was so much fun to meet and re-connect with people and brighten their day with food for the upcoming holiday.
I just love when I see all the good that God is doing in the world AND when kids do what I ask them to the first time (which happened quite often with me Sunday!)
I love you, my PUMP church family!

The singing was truly amazing on Sunday. We did our best to let all of the angels join in - I'm not sure it could have been any louder, that's for sure! I had kids worship duty, which I have to admit, I dread more than just about anything else at PUMP. But, to go along with our good day, even that circus went well! Thank you, Jesus.
